Father God, I come before You right now lifting up my brother Chad. Lord, Your Word says to taste and see that You are good, and that the man who trusts in You is blessed. I anchor this week's prayer there, and I anchor it in something I have watched happen in Chad. He has found peace in the middle of this. Not because the fight is over. Because he decided You are good and Your plan can be trusted. Thank You for that, Lord. That is Your work in him.
Father, the legal situation has moved. It is not finished, but it is moving, and Chad has asked his counsel to schedule a call to work toward a settlement. Go ahead of that call. Give his attorneys wisdom and clarity. Soften the hearts on the other side of the table. Let the conversation be productive instead of combative, and let a resolution come that honors You and lets Chad put this behind him. Bring it swiftly, Lord, sooner than anyone expects.
Lord, protect the peace Chad has found. The enemy would love to use one bad phone call or one delay to pull him back into fear. Do not allow it. Let the peace You have given him be the kind that guards his heart and mind, the kind that does not depend on what the other side does. He has already decided to walk this in faith. Honor that decision every single day of this week.
Cover his business, his finances, his marriage, and his peace. You promised that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and I am standing on that promise again. Restore what has been taken. Multiply what remains. Turn what the enemy meant for destruction into a testimony that You are good.
And Father, I rebuke every attack of the enemy on Chad's life this week. Satan, you have no authority here. You do not get to undo the peace God has given Chad. You do not get to whisper that faith was foolish if the settlement stalls. You do not get to convince him to take back control of something he has already handed to God. We see your schemes, and we shut the door on every one of them in the name of Jesus.
Father, build a wall of protection around Chad's mind, his marriage, his home, his business, and his heart. Send Your angels ahead of him into that settlement call and every conversation around it. Let him feel Your nearness so clearly that the enemy's voice loses every inch of ground it tried to take.
Refill what is empty, Lord. Give Chad moments of joy this week that come out of nowhere, just to remind him that You see him, You delight in him, and You are fighting for him.
I thank You for Chad. I thank You for the peace You have given him and the faith he is walking in. Finish this, Lord, and let the ending be one that points back to You.

Taste and see that the Lord is good, brother. You already have. The lawsuit is not closed, but you found peace before the ending arrived, and that is the whole verse in one sentence. You decided God is good and His plan can be trusted, and then you kept walking. That is faith. Not the kind that waits for proof. The kind that moves first.
David wrote Psalm 34 while hiding in a cave, still on the run, the outcome still unknown. That is where he said taste and see. You are writing your version of it from the same spot.
So here is the assignment this week. Protect the peace. When the settlement call gets scheduled, or delayed, or goes sideways, do not let it touch what God has already settled in you. The outcome belongs to Him. You get to walk in step with Him and let Him carry what only He can carry.
